Frontier Ice Company, LLC was originally established in 2023 to meet the growing demand for professional, high-capacity ice distribution in Northern Wyoming. In 2025, the company entered a new chapter when it was acquired by Tucker and Trevor Goss. Coming from a professional background in freight and logistics, we saw an opportunity to take a local service and elevate it with modern efficiency.
For us, Frontier Ice is more than a business—it is a family operation built on the belief that "good enough" simply isn’t enough. We believe that reliability in the ice industry is a matter of trust, and we work every day to ensure that our name stands for quality across every mile we travel.
Expansion & The Legacy of "The Ice Man"
In 2026, we made a strategic move to better serve the Black Hills of South Dakota by acquiring "The Ice Man LLC" out of Deadwood. This acquisition was about more than just equipment; it was about honoring a 32-year legacy. The former owner, Frank Pavich, had spent over three decades becoming the most trusted name in ice for the Black Hills region.
Frank trusted the Goss family to carry his life’s work forward because he saw our commitment to his original values: hard work, punctuality, and personal service. By combining Frank’s 32 years of local expertise with our advanced logistics capabilities, we have been able to scale rapidly while maintaining the small-town integrity our customers expect.

Today, Frontier Ice Company operates two strategic hubs with warehouses in Sheridan, WY, and Belle Fourche, SD. This dual-state presence allows us to dominate the competitive Black Hills market while maintaining our primary service routes in Northern Wyoming.
